Windows xp folder sharing problem and its solution

 

If you are having problem with connecting shared folder in windows xp .. if you are asked for usename & password but username filed is inactive with username "computername\administrator"..

the solution is as bellow

Type Gpedit.msc in "Run" option

goto above mentioned option and rename the admin account name to administrator, if it's already administrator then rename it to anything else.. and then create new administrator account using control panel -->user account option with username administrator with password.

now you can access this pc on LAN network with administrator username & password..
