How to make another partition from huge C : drive
Now a day's all computers are having a very huge space in C:/ drive and very less space in D:/ drive which troubles us to store data in another drive and makes us to put data in C:/ drive
Here I am mentioning an easy way to create a new partition on your Harddisk.
Step 1
Open the Disk Management cons
by typing “diskmgmt.msc” in command prompt
by typing “diskmgmt.msc” in command prompt
Step 2
In the Disk Management window, right-click your C: partition and select Shrink Volume.
Enter the amount of space you want to shrink the partition by, in MB.
Step 3
After the process completes, right-click inside the Unallocated space and select New Simple
Volume to create a new partition from the unpartitioned space.
Step 4
Make your new partition When the process is complete, you’ll have a separate data partition.
