Many Post offices having Branch Post Offices are having frequent issue of updataion or Installation of various Applications like CBS,PLI,COMMON,DEMO,DELAPP and we need to install them using rict portal. But in many cases, MCD devices are having network issue or it shows error message “Connectivity problem, please try after sometime”
To overcome this issue, there is provision to create offline job
Procedure
Login into RICT Webportal :
https://172.16.20.64:9445/dop/homeusing RICT Admin Login ID & Passwords
Now click on device management option
Now click on Offline management
Now enter device ID
Now click on Apply filter button. Following screen will be displayed.
Now click on Prepare job Action button
Now select job type , job subtype ,application ,versionetc.
Then click on submit button
You can add multiple jobs at a time.
After addition of all jobs, just click on Proceed button
Then click on Generate message button and then click on download package
By this way one Devicename_date.tar file will be downloaded.
Copy this file into pen drive
Now insert pen drive into MCD Device
Action to be performed on MCD Device
Click on Offline button
Click on offline jobs button
Now MCD Will scan your pen drive and will find the .Tar file available in pen drive and will update the same automatically
