SOP- Postman Bridge Application
Registering the Devices
Once Login in as Supervisor the user can register the Devices
through the Home-register Devices option.
After that the registered devices needed to be synced with the
central Server. The option is available in PMA-Supervisor-Sync
with Central Server (Screenshot attached). If the device is
already registered locally then same will be available in this
screen .User has to click the sync button. The mobile phone is
now configured to transfer data from PC to mobile and vice versa.
Transferring invoiced data:
After connecting the mobile device to PC using USB OTG cable the
invoiced data can be transferred to the mobile. The details like
Postman Name, Mobile Number, Device ID, Beat Number etc.
appears on the screen.
Clicking Transfer Data button, the data invoiced in Postman and
Speed Net modules for the beat, get transferred to Postman app. A
Confirmation that data is successfully transferred appears after
transferring data.
Returns
The data from the mobile device after completion of the delivery can
be sync with the office PC by using the bridge application clicking”
"Get Returns Data" The following screen appears. Please click
Connect button to connect mobile phone with PC. Now click GetData
to transfer returns information to speed and meghdoot applications.
Reports
After the transfer of the returns data the user will be able to get the delivery
slip along with the signature from the bridge application from Report option.
